The best/nicest place to live in Liverpool?

We are relocating to Liverpool for work, my partner's job is in Broadgreen and mine is in Fazakerley. Where is the best/nicest place to live? Ideally a 2 bed house under £500 per month rent with public transport options to both workplaces? Had been looking at Aigburth/Sefton, is this feasible?

  • Aigburth and Sefton is Liverpool 17 area (South Liverpool) and is a highly sought after area as you are close to Otterspool prom and Sefton park. They tend to be more 3 bed terraces with yard. I have a house in this area which I will be renting out again once the new carpets have been fitted, if you are interested? The other nice areas are Liverpool 18, but again expensive to rent and buy. Some areas of Liverpool 15 are OK. If you see a house you are interested in give me a shout and I will let you know if it's a nice road/area. Hope that helps.

  • From near Sefton Park there is a bus, the 68, that stops at Broadgreen Hosp. The Sefton Park area is also close to St. Micael's station. You can get a train to Fazakerley from there. Both journeys would take about 30 mins I think. You couldn't be better placed for getting to both of those places.
