Any 2 bed properties in central London under £200p/w?
I want to move down to London ASAP as I have several job opportunities in the pipeline and if I don't do it now, never will and all that. One such opportunity may be in the Victoria/Westminster area... yes I know there is pricey. I'll be moving down from the West Midlands where you can rent a 3 bed house from as little as £500pcm. I know London is obviously dearer but all my searches on £850 or under just seem to bring up studios or places virtually in Essex, Surrey etc. I'm after a 2 bed place to rent as whilst I'll be alone initially I will be having friends come down to stay weekends and a friend of mine is likely to be wanting to move in once he gets back from a work/study placement abroad. Furnished, ideal but not an absolute necessity though it would be nice moving into somewhere and not be having to buy cookers, washing machines etc even if I have to get furniture. Want somewhere that has good transport links i.e. tube and night/24hr bus from central London. Help.

We just bought a buy-to-let flat that would be perfect for you, but you're looking at £500 per week rather than per month. I'm pretty sure the answer to your question is a resounding no. Generally, flats you are looking for will be advertised per week. Even a studio in SW1 is going to be minimum of £250 per week. It's a great place to live but a whole new world moneywise.
