What is the best site to contact owners who are letting their flats in London?
I am looking to let through an owner as this is what my fiancee and I are doing at the moment. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

The best site is rentdirectuk.co.uk, its free and you wont be hassled by fraudsters and con artists found on other property and classified sites. I used them and found them amazing, I live in Irmingham but they cover the entire UK. Goodluck.

Gumtree.com is very popular, although be wary of fraudsters and ensure that the landlord is keeping up to date with their legal requirements, such as providing you with an annual gas safety certificate, an EPC and ensure that your deposit is protected by one of the 3 deposit schemes.
