Do I need a referral?
I will be moving to London, England in 2012 from Toronto, Canada. Do I need some kind of referral when I start looking to rent a flat?

You may need a guarantor, but a large deposit a few months’ rent paid upfront could alleviate that problem.

Hi, requirements vary agent to agent. Some may accept a guarantor or credit check whilst others may ask for some rent to be paid in advance. Speak to different agents in the area and see what they have to offer.
