What if I don't have a guarantor?
Myself and my friend are currently students looking to rent a flat in south west London, problem is we don't have a guarantor. He is an overseas student so his parents live abroad, my mother is signed off work and my father has very bad credit history and is not a homeowner. Could my friend's parents guarantor for us from overseas? If not, what should I do?

Many agencies in London will accept half the contracts payment (e.g. 6 months) in advance instead of a garantor. Check with the agency you plan to rent with and this might be a possibilty?
