How do I find cheap apartments for rent in London?

Unfortunately when it comes to renting properties in London, monthly prices are without exception, the highest in terms of areas of the UK, so finding something cheap can be difficult.
You could consider sharing a flat or apartment with someone to bring down the overall price for yourself, or try living in one of the surrounding areas that still have excellent transport links into the city itself, as this will make it cheaper to rent a property.
If you are looking for a property in London though, the best thing to do can be to remain vigilant with your search. Use Zoopla's search engine and search at various points of the day. Properties in London for rent are in high demand, and cheaper ones will come and go quickly, so making sure to check often will give you a better chance of finding one at a decent price.
