Different cities and their rent prices?

Hi, just wondering what the distance of Bath to London is and if rent is cheaper in Bath or London? Coming out there soon and was wondering which way to go about it. Thanks.

  • Hi ntrotter, There is quite a distance between Bath and London - approximately 116 miles according to Google Maps. I'm not sure if you are talking about doing a commute between the two, but there are trains that travel this way. The Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington train passes through Bath, so that would be one option for getting into the city centre. In terms of rental prices, London and the south-east are the two most expensive areas of the country to live in for sure. However, you will almost definitely find that it is considerably cheaper to rent in Bath than it is to do so in the capital. London tends to be its own little micro-climate when it comes to renting, and high demand leaves many people battling for the same properties and prices are often artificially high as a result. You should definitely be looking to rent in Bath over London if money is an issue you are worried about. Many thanks, Scott
