  • Hi Lorri, Right to rent will only affect you if you're not entitled to be in the country legally. Right to rent simply states that a landlord may only rent to a person who is legally entitled to residence in the UK, and that landlords are obligated to check. It's part of the governments immigration bills, aimed at reducing the number of houses rented to illegal immigrants. Many thanks, Dan
