Lha/dss top up working part time.

Its a nightmare finding Lha/dss accepted properties as it is. I work part time in a stable job. I'm also a keyworker if that helps. Housing benefit allows myself and my daughter to have a home. Are there any useful websites resources or specific letting agents to help the process? I've tried so many.

  • Hello - sorry to hear about your difficulties. Looking for LHA properties in London can be challenging as rents have been increasing so much. I think it will be a case of persevering and perhaps looking at areas a bit further out of centre where rents are more reasonably priced. What kind of home are you looking for and are you looking for north, south, east or west?

  • North ideally Enfield as the lha rate is good and properties are decent. Hackney as lha is good but property prices are extortionate. My dad is in Hackney and I help to care for him. Very difficult scenario.
