Rental Rates Dropping in SE London?
5 bed detached and tastefully renovated Bovis house with double garage rented out in 2013/14/15 for £2500 PCM. On return from tenant approx. 10k damages noticed and currently fighting to get that sorted. Estate Agency insisting that in order to get the house back out rented I should agree to drop the price below the rent achieved in 2013. This flies in the face of all that I read about rental and properties in the London area and am concerned that the Agent is looking for the easiest option after agreeing much lower T&C with me after winning an open bidding session for the contract. Should I agree or sack him?
