Renting a property in Manchester

Good afternoon. I was just wondering about renting a property. Do all applicants have to have a job? I am currently in a rented apartment but I'm looking to move to Manchester in mid October. However, I'm not sure if I will have a new job by the time I have to vacate my current apartment. Money wouldn't be a problem, as I have savings, but I would like to know if agencies/landlords will consider me as a possible tenant even though I might not have a job for the first few weeks of moving. Any help?

  • This would be dependent on the property. Each landlord would set certain criteria and this criteria may change depending how long the property has been vacant. If you explain your situation to the agent they can only pass this information on to the landlord. Good luck.
