  • Though, rental is on the rise, your area is not very high on the "demand" list. However, there is sufficient interest to make you some money.

  • Hi Miya110303, At the moment, there is a very high demand for rental properties across the country, with more landlords looking to remortgage and purchase additional stock thanks to the number of potential tenants that are there. Even if your house is not in an area that has comparatively high demand, as mentioned in the answer above, you should be able to make a tidy income from being in the rental market at all. In the last year, the rental yields for the UK as a whole have increased from 6.3 per cent to 6.4 per cent, showing that the sector is continuing to operate strongly. It is a very useful one to be involved with as a property investor at the current time. Many thanks, Scott
