Can you make an offer on a Rental Propert?

Looking to maybe Rent..Are there any new rules I should be aware of...Pitfalls etc

  • Yes you can. If you are the tenant just do it via the agent you let it with. If you are not the tenant you will need to find out either the agent who has let it or the landlord. The best way to do this is ask the neighbours.

  • Having re read your question yes you can negotiate, but as ever it is the landlords decision as to whether he accepts a rent lower then what was being asked.

  • I'm an agent and get asked if the landlords are negotiable on the rent, particularly at the moment when a lot of people are struggling for money! All we can do is ask the landlords! If you don't ask you don't get! Some landlords are more leniant than others and it can also depend on your circumstances, if you're looking for a long term let, they may be more agreeable. Hope this helps!
