Do you smoke indoors? Most landlords will consider it assuming your other circumstances are good.

Hi lindadoreen63, Most landlords will accept your little dog when it comes to moving into a new flat, as they are reasonably lenient and the majority of tenancy agreements will specify that they will not reject any reasonable request for someone to bring a pet into their rented home. If you are looking on the listing for a property on Zoopla, anyone who will not accept a pet, or a smoker should specify that they won't do so. However, if you are only smoking outside then there should be no problem at all with that aspect of things.

Landlords generally won't mind smokers as long as they some outside and not in the flat. It is usually more difficult with dogs and pets in general. You might be asked to put down higher deposit to cover professional clean at the end of your tenancy
