What does 'let by' mean?

Im looking for a property to rent and am unsure of what this means

  • 'Let by' simply means let by the landlord or rental agency the property is with.

  • LET BY means that the property is no longer available. You will see this mainly on boards in front of properties or in shop fronts of letting agencies

  • If "Let By" or "Let" are on the sign outside the property or that text is the property's webpage, then the relevant papers have been signed and the tenancy has been agreed between the landlord and the tenant, therefore the property is no longer available. :)
