  • Hi, Where abouts is the property that you are looking to rent? Anyone across the world could rent a property in a different location as long as you have a reputable letting agent managing your property. After all this is a global economy!

  • Hi, We would advise that you take a look at all the local estate agents in the area to see what properties they have available to rent. They will be able to help you with a search for a property that is suitable for you as well as being able to inform you of any new properties that become available which you may be interested in.

  • Hi Hanyodeh, If you are looking to rent in a town or city where there is a university, then the chances are that landlords and letting agents will have come across a situation like yours at some point in the past, so it is a good idea to look for a property you like and simply get in contact with the letting agent. You might have to provide details of credit checks or references to say that you can afford to pay for your rental property, and there will also be a security deposit to be paid up front before you can take up a tenancy in any property, but this can all most likely be done before you even arrive in the country. Many thanks, Scott

  • It will depend how long you wish to rent the property for. If you speak to student services they will have a list of available properties. I have attached the relevant web page for you. There will also be agents in the area that deal with this situation a lot. Good luck!
