Let agreed can I still view?

I found a property I liked but when I went to query it the agent said it was gone but on site it only says let agreed. Could I still ask to view the property as it hasn't been officially let and they might fail the credit checks? Could the agents refuse me viewing it? Also could I ask for the landlords details so I could speak to them directly? I know the property isn't available for another 2 week's so I really want to go for it if others back out

  • Good morning This is a good question. The easy answer is yes you can. It is ultimately the landlords decision who they take and the agent is unable to override that unless the landlord has told them they no longer want any viewings. Even with a holding deposit the landlord is still able to let it to someone else. You can find the landlords details in the Land Registry, it will cost you £3 and give you the name and address

  • Hi, When a property is let agreed this will mean that there is an application proceeding on it. It would be best to speak to the agent who has listed the property as they will be able to advise whether you are able to view or not. We hope this helps.
