Can you be 17 years of age to rent a flat?
I am 17 and soon to be 18 and I am going to be coming into a great deal of money from my trust fund. I am also looking for a good paid job at the same time as being a student at college. I finish my college course next year and will be going on to Aberyswyth university. But I would like to move out now to get the independence and start my life.

It's unlikely that you will be able to rent accommodation if you are under 18 years old unless you can get a 'guarantor' to also sign for you. My mum was at aberyswyth university which she thoroughly enjoyed. I'd be cadgy about your inheritance: you'll pick up the wrong friends! Best of luck
