Hi, can you elaborate on your issue. Are you suggesting you have a poor credit rating and if so, would it affect your partner renting? Whatever your circumstances, it's best to be honest with your prospective landlord or agent. They will invariably work with you to provide a solution, afterall - they don't any rental income or fees until properties are let and should value tenants the same as landlord clients. Save yourself some time by going to speak with one of the letting agents in your area and finding out what you can do to help your situation.

It would depend on the application you are putting in, whether it's joint names or just in yours.
