I need to find a property to rent without having a garantor in Southampton.

You aren't giving much away but you will only need a guarantor if you do not meet the agent/landlord's referencing criteria. If this is the case it would be because of poor credit rating (eg. CCJ's) or insufficient income. You could offer to pay 6 month's rent up front otherwise I doubt that you would be accepted as a tenant by any reputable agency. You could try looking in the Echo to see if there are any private landlords who would accept you. If you want any more advice feel free to contact me. Good Luck
