Landlord's contact details.

How can we get our landlord's contact details as the agents refuse to provide this information. Does the law provide for the tenant to be able to contact the landlord direct? If so can someone please point us to the current section of legislation that is applicable.

  • Landlord & Tenant Act. Make a written request of the agent. In the alternative, a request to the Land Registry for a small fee can be helpful.

  • Check out the landlord & Tenant Act, check your Assured Shorthold tenancy agreement, they have to put the contact details on there, unless they are the managing agent, in which case their details should be on there. your only option is to write to the agent asking them to pass on a letter to the landlord, and ask the landlord to contact you direct with your contact details in the letter.
