Which parts of Severn Terrace, if any , are affected by flooding ?

  • You can look on the environment agencies flood maps to see if there is any record of flooding. Unfortunately this does not include pluvial flooding.

  • As far as I am aware, the race course floods and often the car park behind the houses on Severn Terrace however I have never known the houses to flood. Hope this helps.

  • Severn Terrace was unaffected by the very severe floods of 2007 which greatly exceeded the severity of the recent 2013 flood. The street is about a metre higher than the car park which although closed was mainly not covered in the recent floods. Severn Terrace doesn't flood.

  • Severn Terrace may not flood but I bet the owners can't get flood insurance.

  • The very severe record breaking floods of Spring 2014 did not affect any dwelling in Severn Terrace.
