Would I need referencing checks for a new rental property if it is wit

I have to move from my current rental property as it has been put up for sale by the landlord. I have found another property I like and it is with the same letting agent as my current property. I appreciate I would need to pay for the agreement etc.. but would I have to go through all of the credit checks again or could I just 'transfer' from one property to another? (I am a reliable/responsible tenant, pay my rent on time and none of my circumstances have changed since I started my current tenancy). Thanks

  • Hello Nicky - if it is with another landlord, then yes you would need to but it doesn´t sound like you will have any issues anyway. All the best.
