Is the area in Boswell Road good or bad?

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a house in Boswell Rd, B44 8EH. How is the area - good or bad? How are the schools? Do you think terrace house is good or is semi better? Thanks.

  • Hi sultana2012 The best way of checking what a certain area is like is by using the crime maps on Police.uk. I've supplied the link below, and you can see that in March there were no reported incidents on Boswell Road. In fact, that statement is true for January and February as well, according to the statistics. Looking at the area within a one-mile radius of Boswell Road for March reveals that there were 212 reported crimes, with anti-social behaviour making up around one-third of these offences. There were 29 burglaries and 22 instances of vehicle crime, while violent crime was responsible for 35 incidents. Between April last year and March this year anti-social behaviour made up 34.3 per cent of all crimes in the one-mile radius around Boswell Road, with violent crime at 14 per cent. In terms of schools, there are quite a few in the near vicinity depending on the age of your children. Greenholm Junior and Infant School can be found on Greenholm Road, while there is also Hawthorn Primary School and Warren Farm Primary School close by. I hope that helps. Thanks Scott
