What are the reasonable areas of Bristol?

I live in Somerset but may move to Bristol for work. Obviously I do not want to move into an area full of drugs dens etc. Which areas of Bristol are reasonable and which are OK?

  • If you avoid Knowle, Hartcliffe, Southmead, St Pauls and Eastville you should be fine. Good luck.

  • Not sure how Steve got his info. I have lived in Eastville many years and it is a pleasant place to live. Very family orientated, multicultural, church goer's, and overseas Students moving in too. More like Fishponds really. Very safe and lots of variety, Eastville Park, the Bath cycle path, River frome all within its boundaries. Very regular buses 15 mins bus to city or university. Also appearts to be up and coming on property prices.
