  • Hi angemanetakis, If you're moving to any area with your kids, some of the most important things you will want to know will include the likes of crime rates for safety, the performance of schools in the area, and whether it's a place that has a demographic to suit your own so your kids aren't left feeling like the odd ones out (in an area filled with young professionals, for example). To find this all on the Zoopla website is very easy, so let's take a look at all of these factors. To do so, open up the homepage of the Zoopla website and search for any properties for sale in Burton-on-Trent. Open up the top of these listings and then click on the tab above the photograph that says 'local info'. Once you have the next page, you will be able to see all of the information you are looking for. To start with, look at the schools in the area, and to do this, you should look to where the top bar chart is. Just above this, you will see a list of the schools in the area. Meanwhile, on the table itself, you can click the tab named schools to see how they perform against the national average. As you will see from this info, the schools in the area perform broadly in line with the averages set around the country. You can get the crime stats from the same chart if you select the appropriate tab along the top. Again, this is measured against the rest of the country, and you can gather from the table that the crime rate in Burton-on-Trent is generally well below national averages for all crimes except for physical violence. Finally, if you go down again and look for the second bar chart, you will see a tab named family. Click this in order to see the demographics for the area and to check if your family will fit in. You will see from this that the biggest proportion of residents in the area are couples with no children, but with the volume of those with kids (either couples or single parents) only a little below the national average, you and your family should fit in just fine in the area. Many thanks, Scott
