Is it safe living on the 1st floor at Sovereign Quay in Cardiff Bay?

Hi, The property address is 1st floor, Sovereign Quay, Havannah Street, Cardiff Bay. Just behind St David's Hotel. I've heard home invasion in this property due to easy access to balcony on 1st floor. My worry also rises from its neighboring town - Bute Town. Thanks everyone.

  • We have lived all our life here in Bute town and never, ever have been broken into.

  • The area is up and rising. There is a lot of social housing and there is plenty of private. We are moving from a CF14 postcode to there (CF14 is the best Cardiff postcode) The reason for our move in money in our pockets, the amazing bay life and the nature reserve. Break-ins do happen. My neighbour has had 3. He also uses his front room with the lights on and curtains drawn back and his computers are on display. Keep everything out of sight and get the police to check the apartment over for safety weakness points. It's a good place to invest if you are happy to wait for the market.
