Hi. What is the safe distance between Pylons and a house?

Distance between house I'm intending to buy and nearest Pylon is 214 ft. Is this safe?

  • No one could answer this question with any real certainty. There are health problems associated with living near pylons, but no concrete evidence, just statistics. You might find it difficult to sell on in the future, but risks are everywhere in life. You have to ask yourself how much do you want the property, and will you worry about the pylon after moving in? If you can pretty much forget it’s there, then I would say it'll do no more harm than having an x-ray one day for something. There are risks to almost everything, most people don't give potentially dangerous things a second thought throughout the day.
