  • Hi Smalley101, Kelty in Fife is an area that has many advantages. In spite of the fact that it has a reasonably bad reputation on a local level for crime, the town has many nice areas that are good to live in. Some of the main advantages come from the fact that house prices in Kelty are low, while the town has great links to other areas of the kingdom and beyond. It is situated just off the M9 motorway, which means that the likes of Dunfermline, Perth and Dundee are all easily accessible by road for commuters. Even Edinburgh can be reached for those who are willing to drive a little further. In the town itself, there are a number of different local shops and pubs which can mean not having to travel too far afield on days off, while it also has its own golf club at Blairadam. Many thanks, Scott
