What's it like to live in Haddington, Scotland?

I am thinking of moving to this area as a single female from Yorkshire, what is the community like here?

  Historic market town 50% of population commute to work in Edinburgh which is 30 mins by road. I have always found the town safe. 3-4 good restaurants and pubs. Sports centre, squash, badmington, tennis, rugby club. I would hope the community is welcoming to all. Hope this is helpful.
