  • Chatham : is a up and coming area. There is alot of investment being pumped into the area to make it a nicer place to live. Its surrounding areas are Gillingham and Rochester. Like all areas Chatham has its bad parts and good parts. I would say overall it is a good place to live as there is alot of amenties surrounding it. It has a number of shopping centres, Country parks and also modern cinema and shopping area in the Docks. St Marys Island in Chatham is locally know as a nice, safe place to live. It boast good links to London, and is accesable by fast trains and motorways.

  • I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website or police.gov to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are. You can also look at the local tourist board website which gives you an up to date overview of the area. I would also visit the area and ask some locals.
