    You can look at crime statistics and what work is being done by the police on their website. Visiting an area is the best way to find out about it, by speaking to locals. Statistics can only tell you so much, there is good and bad in most areas.

    We would suggest that you check out the local Tourism website & check the crime rates for the area. Do some research on the internet – it’s worth calling a few of the agents too to get some advice. Spend some time in the area that you are interested in too – try to get a feel for the place.
