Areas in Liverpool best to live in

My partner has just taken a job in Bootle so we are relocating to Liverpool. Which are the nicer areas?

  • Hi, I live in Lydiate and it is one of the nicest properties up for sale 6 Bells Lane, L31 4EP, really need to know what you are prepared to pay before I can advise. If I can help just ask

  • Commercial District is the best area in town, even if you are on a budget. Decent flats, decent neighbours, affordable rents/mortgages, practically a zero crime rate, and Moorfields underground station for a 10 or 15 minutes on the Northern Line to bootle.

  • Although if you're a house and garden type, Crosby, Formby, Southport, Lydiate, Maghull are all commutable.

  • Depends what you want really. If you are both young and want the city nearby there are lots of places in L1. If you have a family I would go for Crosby, Hightown or Formby.

  • If you both want safe place to live handy for town trains and central access to most routes to rest of city and work my personal suggestion would be tobacco wharf by sandhills station secure parking, security nice place/residents. Only 5 mins on train 2 work or town 15 20 pound week fare pass, cheaper than petrol and parking? Rents/Sales reasonable, check it out. Properties very rarely available good sign though. Good luck.
