  • Hi melko, You can look for an indicator of safety in any area of the UK by taking a look at the local info pages we have here at Zoopla. These allow you the chance to look at the crime rates therein and then compare them to the national averages (as well as to other areas if you choose). To find these statistics, you will need to head back to the homepage of Zoopla and perform a search for all of the properties that are currently for sale or listed for rent in the area. From here, just click on any listing and then choose the local info tab that sits above the main photograph. This will bring you to a new page and if you scroll down on this, you will see a bar chart. On this chart, you can find a range of information, but we are looking for crime info, so click the crime tab to allow you to see the latest crime stats, as well as their comparison to the national average. As you will see from this graph, crime rates for violence and theft are broadly in line with the national averages for this area, while they are also higher than average in other crimes. Many thanks, Scott
