Rubbish next door - can the environmental health dept deal with rats and roaches ?

We see rats every few months when the rubbish piles up next door, I assume it is legal to kill vermin? Although it would be better if the environmental health cleaned this mess up so they can finally move on to a more suitable place away from people's houses. We live in a nice street where you don't expect to see this sort of trash and vermin.

  • I would recommend contacting your local environmental health department. They can take action to get things cleared up, and would most likely monitor the situation to ensure that it doesn't happen again.
