  • Meadow Road is nice, if a little busy (it's a cut through from Lower Earley to the Wokingham Road). Crime is pretty low in my opinion - and the figures published back this up, and noise from a 'people' point of view isn't bad but road noise may be a negative. The big downer about Meadow Road is the Co-Op on the corner of the junction with Wokingham Road. This means a lot of people park down Meadow Road to use the shops, and traffic congestion at the top of the road can be an issue. Anywhere further down than Sutcliffe Avenue shouldn't be affected. Qualifications: I live 3 mins away in Lower Earley!
