  • Hi Petalage, You can find the latest crime data for any area in England or Wales by taking a look at the website police.uk, as mentioned above and simply searching for the town or city you want to know about. Doing this for Winstanley shows that the crime rate in the area has been falling in each of the last two consecutive years up to the end of 2012. However, in spite of this, it still sits above the average for England and Wales as a whole. During the month of March this year, it was reported that there were 20 incidents of crime called in, with 12 outcomes during this time. It's also important to compare any region's level of crime to others in similar areas and of the same size though, to get a truer reading overall. Doing this for Winstanley shows that crime rates are lower than both towns of a similar size and others covered by the Greater Manchester Police force. Many thanks, Scott
