Was Green Lane a recycling centre?

Was there a dump in the Green Lane area Worcester Park KT4? I found a lovely detached house in Brook Place, off Green Lane and I heard this area might be contaminated because it was a recycling Centre before.

    The area that is now called the Hamptons used to be a sewage works I believe but not anymore. Building work not yet complete on the Hamptons.
