What are the pros and cons of trying to sell a house as furnished?
I am planning on moving abroad and feel the selling process for me would be to sell as furnished? Is there a market for this?

The pro is obviously that you don't have the trouble of disposing of any unwanted furniture. The cons are that you will limit your buyers to those that either have very little furniture of their own (first time buyers), or buy to let landlords. Bear in mind that furniture in rented houses needs to have fire resistant finishes. You could try approaching local letting agents and see if any of their landlords would be interested in making an offer. Alternatively have you considered letting the house yourself, rathing than selling?
