Some people move for good and happy reasons, bigger house new job, bigger family, to get there children into the right schools and it's a positive move and relatively stress free and easy, others unfortunately move for negative reasons, debt, divorce, poor health and normally as the homeowner has no choice it is a more stressful situation and more difficult move. My advice to anyone selling is even if you don’t want to put is as much effort into the presentation of your property as ultimately it will sell quicker and for a better price and move you out of a difficult position as quickly as possible, all ways remain positive.

I agree with the above answers, for two fundamental reasons. Positive- generally lifestyle choice or improvement of current economic/ environmental situation Negative- 'forced sales' death, divorce or debt.
