Why is my house still valued so low on zoopla when it has been much improved?

  • Does Zoopla know it has been improved? If yes, then it simply could be that a house in that particular street in that particular area has a ceiling value, irrespective of what's been done to it. Some improvements are worth more than others, though. New kitchens and bathrooms add value, conservatories tend not to. Some such us upvc double glazing actually reduce a house's value - because it's ugly and doesn't last as long as people think.
