How do I find out how many houses have been sold by agents in Chelmsford to compare their service?
I want to switch agents but would like to compare agencies in Chelmsford by the number of properties they have sold in the last say 3months in my price bracket

Speak to a few of them and get a feel for how they deal with you. If they sound friendly and knowledgable and can give you examples of sales successes locally then put them on your short list. If they advertise their homes on the more valuable portals like Zoopla, have accessible opening times, and do not try to charge you a ridiculously high fee, then choose them. Don't sign a long sole agency agreement though and perhaps even go 'multi' so that you retain control and flexibility.
