You can sell your home without an agent, as long as you have an energy performance certificate. You will not be able to advertise your property on Zoopla or Rightmove without an agent. But you can find free sites by doing a quick Google search. You can also create your own website.

Use Zoopla to help you decide on a good selling price then market the home yourself on the Internet. Use services to help you maximise your marketing from a For Sale Board, professional photos, floor plans etc. Once you have found a potential buyer provide them with more photos and information. Give them the stuff they need like council tax bills and energy prices for the home. Providing them with lots of information prevents wasted time doing viewings. Once the buyer makes an offer that you accept hand over the process to a solicitor or online conveyancing company.
