Is VAT payable on house sale & who pays it?
I'm selling at a whacking reduction but broke my rule of assuming nothing on this one.. if I get a clause in a sale contract which states no VAT payable but if any due it's included in the purchasers offer, I might as well give the house with a big ribbon on it saying with love and I will do your garden for a year as a wee bonus.
