How well are the houses selling in Farnworth?

Thinking of selling my house in Farnworth and wondered how well they are selling in this area?

  • It can be a struggle selling in Farnworth but of course a lot of property is on sale and people can be picky. I once had a house near Farnworth rail station nearly 20 years back and it was taking a while then .

  • In a nutshell it depends on the individual house. Houses are selling in Farnworth, as they are elsewhere in Bolton but asking prices have been falling in recent months (around 5% or so) and there has always been pockets of Farnworth that have sold better than others. My advice to any seller is always to be realistic with your pricing and you'll give yourself a good chance.

  • Hard work, do a search for what else is on sale with same beds in 1/4 mile radius, and price yours £1,000 lower than the lowest one (excluding refurbs) Logically yours will sell first!
