The Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is valid for 10 years

That's right, EPCs are valid 10 years which is the maximum validity period the E.U. could put on it...

An EPC last for 10yrs. EPC's can be done again if there has been any significant work carried out which would change (increase) the house's energy performance.

They'll last for 10 years unless significant changes are made - check the date on the certificate.
