Now there's a question. Traditional agents with big costs will charge you a percentage of the sale price upon completion. But the new breed of online estate agent will charge you much less. iSOLD in Bristol will ask you for £999 whereas eMoov fees are from just £249 for a full estate agency service.

In my experience Estate Agents fees are the same as everything in life, you get what you pay for and cheaper is not best value for money. A good estate agent will market your property correctly and pro actively, expose it to a wide variety of purchasers, which will generate the maximum sale price. Typically most estate agents are between 1.25% to 2.5% and by choosing the best one will get you a higher price and a smoother transaction..
