The current rate to sell a house charged by estate agents?

  • It really depends on which type of estate agent that you use. A high street estate agent will usually charge between 1.5 - 2% for a sole agency agreement of 3% for multi agency. If you use an online estate agent then fees can start from £300.

  • The previous awnswer is correct, they vary from agent to agent. Definitely worth going on with a few. Your property will get more market coverage that way. I know getanoffer.co.uk work on a no sale no fee basis. I recommend them quite a lot as whoever I pass accross to them tend to sell very quickly.
