Estate Agent A instructed me to find a buyer for a portfolio of 17 properties and l went to Estate Agent B who provided a buyer. Who pays me?

Estate Agent A instructed me to find a buyer for a portfolio of 17 properties in which they were acting as agents for the seller. I went to Estate Agent B and they got me a buyer. Question - who is responsible to pay me my finders fee? Is it the buyer or the seller or both?

  • The one who instructed you, but if you don't have a signed contract good luck - probably no one.
