If a house sale was on April 19th, when should we receive the money from sale?

  You will receive the money once the sale has completed. Your solicitor will tell you that. Can I assume you agreed a sale with a buyer on April 19th and solicitors were instructed to act for you and another solicitor for the buyer? Bottom line.. ask your solicitor.
